Minnesota Timberwolves Light Blue City Edition Jerseys, 2019-20

Paul Langan: No. 3

Even though I’m ranking these jersey’s second to last, I still love them a lot. There’s been some criticism of the MSP across the chest for the spacing or the fact that it’s the airport code for Minneapolis-St. Paul International, but they look sharp nonetheless.

Usually, I don’t like simplicity in NBA jerseys, but the white on light blue is appealing and I would’ve had them higher on the list if the other two weren’t so good.

Kayne Rob: No. 4

I get that these were a shout-out to some history in the city, but they were boring and ugly to me. I thought it almost looked like faded denim. The name “Timberwolves” and the team mascot, Crunch, have something of an edgy and fierce feel to them, yet this felt quite the opposite.

Please don’t bring these back … ever!

Adam Jacobs: No. 3

Man, is this a difficult list. I absolutely love the three non-gray jerseys, but if I have to rank them the blue is my least favorite of the three.

The blue and white is very very clean and it is a crisp design, but that’s it. Also, putting MSP, which clearly represents the Twin Cities, is amazing, but anyone who doesn’t know where the Wolves are, would only know MSP if they frequently fly through the airport. Some may even mistake “MSP” as short for Mississippi.
