2021 NBA Mock Draft 1.0: Timberwolves keep pick, Magic load up

13.  Golden State Warriors – James Bouknight, Guard, UConn

The Golden State Warriors need another ball-handler, and Bouknight could be someone that comes off of the bench as a sparkplug when Curry leaves the floor. He’s a downright electric scorer, despite his passing being somewhat underwhelming.

Bouknight is a shot in the dark – he played limited games at UConn and was inconsistent when he was healthy. Despite this, his combination of athleticism, size, and shooting upside make him an exciting prospect.

This would be an underwhelming draft, though, simply because the Timberwolves were able to retain their pick rather than it conveying to the Warriors.
