14.  San Antonio Spurs – Kai Jones, Forward/Big, Texas

The San Antonio Spurs are possibly losing two frontcourt players (DeRozan, Gay) this offseason, in addition to already buying out Lamarcus Aldridge. Kai Jones is an exceptionally mobile big that has tremendous potential – too much potential to fall outside of the lottery.

Kai Jones is a lengthy forward/big that has shown the ability to step outside and hit 3-point shots. He’s a wiry athlete that can get up in transition. He isn’t going to contribute to winning basketball as a rookie, but he is going to be learning from one of the greatest coaches of all time in Gregg Popovich – and that is enough to sell me on the prospect of this pairing.
