4.     Cleveland Cavaliers – Jalen Green, Wing, G-League

The Cleveland Cavaliers have had top-10 draft picks in three consecutive seasons and, in those seasons, have not had a single player make All-Rookie first team. Collin Sexton has emerged as someone that can consistently score points in games, but his impact on winning really is not known. Suffice to say that the Cavaliers are still in search of someone to be the face of the franchise.

That’s why they take a swing on Jalen Green here. Green was much better at scoring than anticipated at the G-League level. He shot splits of 46-percent from the field and 36-percent from three – something that should not be taken lightly against professional athletes. The competition in the G-League is significantly higher than that of the college game.

Green possesses good size and elite athleticism and should be able to be a good wing at the next level. He is an upside pick and would have been the first overall selection in 2020, for what it is worth.
