5.     OKC Thunder (from HOU) – Jonathan Kuminga, Forward, G-League

Jonathan Kuminga is a player that is going to need some time to adjust to the pro game. Despite playing for the G-League Ignite, Kuminga is incredibly raw offensively, although has shown some polish in some areas.

Kuminga is a ridiculous athlete with an absurd frame. He can play any position 2-4, and that versatility will allow him to be molded into a player that fits the vision of Sam Presti and Mark Daigneault.

Kuminga didn’t shoot well in the G-League, nor was he efficient in any other part of his offensive game. But his combination of size, strength, and athleticism should allow him to at least take advantage of mismatches as a rookie, and he is undeniably a top-5 player in this draft class based on what he could become should his offensive game come around.
