Shooting Guard: Anthony Edwards

Since the All-Star break, Anthony Edwards has been on fire. He has averaged 23 points, five rebounds, and three assists per game on promising splits. And the Timberwolves have been much improved overall as a team in that time span compared to the beginning of the year.

Edwards is a shoo-in for being a Timberwolves starter next season, particularly with his play of late – and it looks as though Minnesota hit on the first overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft in Edwards. He has been, by a wide margin, the best scorer among rookies this season, and his fit in the Timberwolves offense is clear – especially since Chris Finch has become coach.
