1. Anthony Edwards talking about Alex Rodriguez (and J-Lo)

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards is a very relatable person. One of his more “wow!” moments came several weeks ago when he said he did not know who Alex Rodriguez was.

"Reporter: We haven’t gotten to chat with you since the news this weekend that Alex Rodriquez was getting ready to buy in as an owner here. Do you have any thoughts about him? Or are you an A-Rod fan at all growing up or anything like that? AE: A fan, what you mean, like, who is he? Reporter: The baseball player? Alex Rodriguez? AE: Yeah, no. I don’t know who that is. I know he’s going to be the owner, but I don’t know nothing about baseball."

Anthony Edwards, 19-years-old, does not know who one of the most famous baseball players of all time is. In an interview with GQ’s Tyler Tynes, Edwards gave his thoughts on Alex Rodriguez’s relationship with Jennifer Lopez.

"Tynes: What did you learn in the last few days about the dude who might own your team? Edwards: They told me he’s a Hall of famer. Somebody told me he’s like the Michael Jordan of baseball. TT: I feel like that’s a stretch. AE: Oh. TT: You didn’t watch any games or highlights to verify with your own eyes? AE: Nah, I ain’t watch none, nah. I know he date J-Lo [Jennifer Lopez], though! TT: He does not. AE: What? TT: He used to date J-Lo, but they just broke up. AE: Damn! TT: You look like you’re disappointed. AE: Yeah, I am. TT: Any reason? AE: He gonna be my owner, I want him to be happy. TT: You think he’s gonna be happier with J-Lo? AE: Yeah!"
