Minnesota Timberwolves trade targets: Bradley Beal

Bradley Beal is a player that most would have expected to request a trade by this point in his career. Beal came second in the points-scored race this season, only to Steph Curry. He is an elite scoring wing – something that is extremely rare in the NBA.

A Bradley Beal-Karl-Anthony Towns combination would be a top-5 seed in the Western Conference. Both of those players are All-NBA caliber at their best, and if the right supporting cast was assembled, they could do some real damage in the playoffs.

To get Beal, however, a lot would have to be given up. For starters, Anthony Edwards is likely going to have to be included in any Beal trade. The Wizards simply are not going to give up their superstar if they don’t get someone that can both bring in fans as well as give them a nice start to a rebuild.

Additionally, the Timberwolves will have to include multiple draft picks (as well as other young players ). The deal would be massive – but it could be worth it. If Anthony Edwards even comes close to being the type of player that Bradley Beal currently is, he will have been a successful player. But if you want to maximize both Beal and KAT’s prime basketball years, this is a trade that should be considered, if not made.
