The NBA Draft is right around the corner, and the lottery is happening in less than two weeks. This NBA Draft Big Board is going to be an attempt to predict the career outcomes of each player listed within it – although again – take it all with a grain of salt as no one can be 100-percent accurate – it’s merely a rough predictor.

That said, NBA Draft Big Boards do not match players with teams (as a Mock Draft would do), it is, for all intents and purposes, a prospect ranking – one that is like what college recruiting rankings look like.

2021 NBA Draft Big Board: Cade Cunningham headlines draft class

This NBA Draft Big Board is going to include 20 total players – all of which I personally have graded as first-round prospects. Some of the traits that are prioritized by NBA teams include perimeter defense, playmaking, athleticism, and shooting – and rightfully so – a player that is elite at any one of those skills can completely alter the course of an NBA franchise should the rest of their skill set pan out.

There are a lot of top prospects this year – four of which are widely considered ‘elite’ – and it seems as though NBA teams believe this draft class is significantly stronger than that of 2020 – at least to their knowledge prior to the draft.

The 2021 NBA Draft is set to take place in late July, following the lottery one month earlier. Cade Cunningham is the projected first overall pick – and that will likely remain the case for any team that lands the first overall pick.

Let’s dive into it.
