2021 NBA Draft Big Board: Cade Cunningham headlines draft class
12. Josh Giddey, Guard, International
Measurements: 6-8, 205 lbs
Josh Giddey is a super intruiging prospect as a larger, pass-first point guard. He’s improved drastically over the past few years, and really has solidified his stock as a first-round pick.
Giddey is a phenomenal passer – and that will certainly not go away at the NBA level. His shooting is a concern, though – as he shot less than 30-percent from three and less than 70-percent from the free throw line.
Giddey is never going to ‘wow’ you with his athleticism, but he’s crafty at getting to the hoop and has a high enough floor as a defender due to his physical traits to select in the late lottery.
Ceiling: Top-50 player
Floor: 3rd guard in rotation
Median outcome: Starting point guard

11. Jaden Springer, Guard, Tennessee
Measurements: 6-4, 205 lbs
Jaden Springer is a fundamentally well-rounded guard/wing prospect, that brings athleticism, high-level point-of-attack defense, and can score with ease (or, at least at the college level).
Springer was one of the more exciting players to watch in college this season, albeit with slightly less volume than most would liked to have seen as a first-round prospect. He averaged 13 points, four rebounds, and three assists per game on splits of 47/44/81 (only 1.8 3-point attempts per game).
Springer is going to have to prove that his range is consistent, as well as his defense holding up against NBA caliber athletes. Currently projected in the late-first, I’m expecting him to be one of the better value picks in this draft, especially if he lands in the right destination.
Ceiling: Top-40 player
Floor: 3rd guard in rotation
Median outcome: Starting PG/SG
