The Minnesota Timberwolves are going to be very active in the trade market this offseason. There are lots of big names that they are already rumored to be pursuing, such as Ben Simmons of the Philadelphia 76ers and John Collins of the Atlanta Hawks.

Today, though, we’re going to look at some other players that would make sense that don’t get much of the trade conversation. There are lots of players in the NBA that would fit the Timberwolves current situation very well, a lot of which are not mentioned very often.

Minnesota Timberwolves: 3 under-the-radar trade ideas

The Minnesota Timberwolves need several things – more frontcourt depth, an additional rotational big man, and just sound veterans that can make consistent, winning plays. The Timberwolves need experience – and luckily for them – there is lots of that in the NBA.

The Timberwolves were one of the youngest teams in the league this past season, and with Leandro Bolmaro presumably coming over from Europe, it is only going to get younger, unless they add more veterans to the roster.

General manager Gersson Rosas has done a great job of constructing a roster that fits a long-term vision – one that meshes well with what head coach Chris Finch has been trying to implement from a game plan perspective.

Around the league, there are various veterans that have seemingly run their course with their respective team and could use a change of scenery. The Timberwolves could be a suitor for those players, and certainly have the assets to make it happen.
