Football season is long over, and Vikings fans need to get on board with this exciting Minnesota Timberwolves squad.

Let’s compare the Timberwolves’ roster to the Vikings

The Super Bowl high is over, and it’s time for a long offseason. For us Vikings fans, it’s yet another year without the elusive Lombardi Trophy. Another year of pain, suffocating sorrow, and the haunting question of “when?” Or maybe for some of us, it’s “why?”

But there is light in all this darkness. There is a place where all eyes are looking north. And in this place, there lies hope, within an ant, a kat, and a guy who claims there is ice in his blood.

That place is the Target Center, and that place is the home of your Minnesota Timberwolves!

Now I know what you’re thinking, “the Timberwolves are terrible, they should have named us the ping pong balls!” Well stop it, that’s the old Timberwolves. “We the ones jack,” as proclaimed by self-proclaimed Black Jesus himself Anthony Edwards, the Timberwolves currently have a 31-28 record and hold the No. 7 seed in the West.

We are indeed “the ones,” and will be in the playoffs for the first time since 2018, and only the tenth time in team history.

Don’t worry if you haven’t been following along this season, we are still getting used to this too.  But, to help smooth the transition in learning the roster and the rivals, I decided to compare the Timberwolves with the Vikings.

Let’s start with that roster.
