Minnesota Timberwolves: 5-step plan for a perfect off-season

Okay, so the Minnesota Timberwolves ended the 2021-22 season on a promising note. A final record of 46-36 was a good first step. But we know that it’s critical for the Timberwolves to follow up that success with another solid season. The question now is: How does the team do that?
The answer is that there are many different starting points, but wherever the Minnesota Timberwolves choose to begin will have a lasting effect on the chances of overall success, the next steps to take, and the urgency and importance of each subsequent step after that. While we can speculate which path the team will take, they are already having meetings, discussions, and a host of debates over how to best go about it.
So while we settle in and await the offseason events to unfold, it only makes sense to jot down a few notes of our own, and follow along as the team makes their moves, decisions, and selections.
Step V: Hire a top team executive
The first step to any plan is often the most vital. So hiring the team’s next president, who happens to be Denver Nuggets’ former President Tim Connelly, was a huge step in the right direction In this case, the need is doubled because the team’s next steps will fall upon the quality of the person hired.
While we cannot say for certain that the future is a guaranteed success now, we can say that the reaction of NBA insiders, analysts, and experts has been overwhelmingly positive over the Timberwolves’ hire.
Perhaps for very good reason. Connelly has a reputation for being tremendously popular among NBA players, coaches, agents, and staff. He listens, is present in conversations, and considers the perspective of those around him when setting the strategy of how to make the team better.
