But there are some who are delighted with the trade, and why not? The Timberwolves just acquired a true NBA game-changer and did so for the foreseeable future.

Putting my personal bias aside, I freaking love this new look. Holy eff the Wolves are going to be tough. Just need a little depth and let’s go!!!!
In the end, the strength of Minnesota Timberwolves President of Basketball Operations Tim Connelly is not his ability to decipher the NBA Draft, put fans in the stands, or even tell everyone in a basketball organization how to do their job better.
Connelly’s super power? Making NBA teams better
He communicates, and he meets with everyone. But his true super-power is the ability to listen to various viewpoints on a topic, and harness all of the expertise in the room to make things happen. That ability to find the critical path in decision-making is vital to succeeding in the NBA. And Tim Connelly has been succeeding in the NBA.
It’s time to sit back and give this new regime a chance. They may do things a bit differently, but we know how things turned out before. I like this roster move. And given enough time for the shock to wear off and the dust to settle, I believe many fans will too.
