Revisiting the Minnesota Timberwolves summer league roster

If you are wondering about the Minnesota Timberwolves summer league team roster, well we have news for you. Despite the massive number of players who are no longer on the Timberwolves roster, they are for all intents and purposes still on the Timberwolves’ summer league roster. For now. But that is about to change as of Thursday, July 7, 2022.

So let’s take a step back and revisit who is currently on the team, and a few reasons why it will be important to keep an eye on them.

For starters, we know that two players on the team’s summer league roster, namely 7-foot-1 center Walker Kessler, and 6-foot-6 forward Leandro Bolmaro, will be playing for the Utah Jazz in the 2022-23 NBA season. Although the NBA Summer League rosters are created to allow rookies to get their feet wet in an NBA-like setting, the Timberwolves have finally announced plans to replace both Kessler and Bolmaro on the Minnesota Timberwolves Summer League roster.

The Timberwolves have plenty of options to fill their spots, but Walker Kessler at the center position will be the spot I will be most curious about.  The Timberwolves currently have a spot for a center, and a solid showing in their summer league could open the door for an opportunity.
