How does Kyle Anderson fit in with the Minnesota Timberwolves?
By Brennan Sims
The Minnesota Timberwolves have been busy adding talent this off-season. Busy, but not frantic, as the team has been deliberately adding players who fit their vision. Still, don’t let the Kyle Anderson pickup go unnoticed. Known as “Slo-Mo” due to his slow methodical movements, and that trademark Eurostep, Anderson is a big playmaker who played point guard for the UCLA Bruins during his two-year colligate career.
Anderson excels at creating opportunities for himself and his teammates. He has a smooth handle that sets up his mid-range attack. He’s extremely comfortable attacking with his left hand; looking to score or hit teammates with John Wick’s accurate passes.
Anderson competes defensively, with lightning-quick hands and disciplined decisions on the ball. The Timberwolves’ second unit has another capable playmaker, and the former Bruin should have a positive impact all over the court. He has exceptional vision positionally.
