The fun part of the Minnesota Timberwolves‘ current roster is the fact that it very much is a work in process. Intrigue? Suspense? Plot twists? You name it, this team has it this year. So what exactly do I mean by a plot twist? Well, after drafting forward Josh Minott with the 45th overall selection of the 2022 NBA Draft, the Timberwolves were all but certain to be earmarking him to a two-way contract for the 2022-23 NBA season.

But things have changed a bit.

It looks like the team will be looking elsewhere for two-way contract players. Rookie Josh Minott showed enough stuff in the 2022 NBA Summer League to earn a multi-year deal to play for the Minnesota Timberwolves for the next four years.

That sets up the Timberwolves roster with 14 players on the team’s roster, and PF Nathan Knight with a tendered Two-Way contract.

Who will be signed to Two-Way contracts?

So now, how will the Timberwolves fill out their remaining Two-way contract? Well, the team plays one more SL game today, so I would not be the least bit surprised if the team makes an offer to one of the players who are putting up a solid performance.

Option III – C/PF David McCormack

if the Minnesota Timberwolves want to beef up their front court, they need to look no further than center/power forward David McCormack. McCormack signed an Exhibit 10 deal to play for the team in NBA Summer League as well as their training camp. Converting an Exhibit 10 deal into a Two-Way contract is a simple matter.

II –  PG Terrell Brown Jr.
The Timberwolves may be eager to add backcourt depth, which will most certainly point the team in the direction of Terrell Brown. Brown was relatively efficient in a rotational role for the team, getting 30 points on the scoreboard in just 50 minutes of play.

I – G Kevon Harris
Of course, if the team wants to sign the best of the bunch, then the discussion must include combination guard Kevon Harris. He was not only one of the few to see action in every game, but his performance was marked with high energy, electrifying play, and a passion for the game that seemed

Ultimately, these players are just three options for the Timberwolves, and there are undoubtedly others to consider. Who do you think will sign a Two-Way contract with the team?
