The Timberwolves’ play-in victory against the Los Angeles Clippers has to be the top moment of Minnesota’s season. With the Clips coming to Minneapolis, Wolves fans packed out the Target Center to see their team fight to secure just their second playoff berth in the previous 18 seasons.
The excitement was running at an all-time high for this beloved team to get their chance to compete in the postseason. And they delivered in a big way. After the Clippers took a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter, the Timberwolves finished the game on a 26-11 run, taking the lead for good on a long two from D’Angelo Russell.
