Minnesota Timberwolves placed themselves in danger of dismissal

KAT is back, and Ant-Man is too
As he returned to the roster, shooting guard Anthony Edwards who had sprained his ankle, returned to the lineup shortly thereafter. For the first time in many months, the team’s two key scorers are suiting up, and not a moment too soon.
Backup center Naz Reid is out for the remainder of the season with a left scaphoid fracture, a.k.a a broken wrist, which he had surgery to correct. And now, McDaniels’ is out indefinitely with a broken hand and Rudy Gobert is sidelined due to a one-game suspension. That’s a lot of front-court firepower on the shelf.
This season has been a rollercoaster ride for the Timberwolves. Remarkably the Wolves have achieved a record above .500 (42-40). While this is not the way they wanted to finish, the Timberwolves have a chance to face the Memphis Grizzlies once more. All this team needs to do to accomplish that is to knock off the Lakers, and the winner secures the seventh seed in the NBA Playoffs for the NBA Western Conference.
The Memphis Grizzlies are waiting patiently to see who they will face in the first round. The Minnesota Timberwolves would be happy to see their rivals in the first round, the same team they lost to in six games last postseason in the first round.
