With the 2023 NBA Draft now within hours away, the Minnesota Timberwolves certainly need to have a lot of notes and data at their disposal. Thankfully, the team has not been idle at all but has made it a point to keep a steady flow of 2023 NBA Draft rookie prospects coming in for workouts. We recently highlighted six potential NBA rookies who worked out for the team. Now, we pivot to the next group. The Timberwolves are focused on just three players in this round. And they are:


While three rookie prospects may not appear to be a huge number of players to go over, keep in mind that quality is more valuable than quantity in assessing individual prospects. That gets flipped when you are discussing the random chance of succeeding with draft picks, where quantity outweighs quality.

Unfortunately, the Minnesota Timberwolves are relegated to just one draft pick in Round 2 of the 2023 NBA Draft for now. That may not seem like much, but the Timberwolves really are not shopping for much this time around, either.

And yet, any opportunity to improve this team cannot be taken lightly, and the Minnesota Timberwolves are taking every precaution to ensure that this draft is a cautious and carefully planned transaction.
