With July 2023 comes the 2023 NBA Summer League competition for the Minnesota Timberwolves. While the Timberwolves roster is all but filled, the Timberwolves always have a fine eye out for talent that shows up on the summer stage of NBA competition, and this year is no exception.

But the Timberwolves have a special treat. Not only will the team feature last year’s rookies in SG Wendell Moore Jr, PF Josh Minott, and draft-and-stash PG Matteo Spagnolo, but the team will also feature this year’s rookies in forward Leonard Miller and guard Jaylen Clark. Well, in name only for Clark, who won’t be cleared to compete in summer competition due to recovery from an earlier injury.

While the summer league has two open competitions, the Timberwolves have historically opted for the Las Vegas-based competition, which opens in July 2023 this year.

The schedule for the Timberwolves games are:

vs. Pelicans – July 7th at 3:30 pm CT on NBA TV
vs. Jazz — July 10th at 9:00 pm CT on ESPNU
vs. Hawks — July 12th at 3:00 pm CT on ESPN2
vs. Kings — July 13th at 8:30 pm CT on NBA TV
