Timberwolves forward Li Kaier gets his groove back
By Bret Stuter
When Minnesota Timberwolves all-purpose forward Kyle Anderson announced that he would be competing for Team China in the 2023 FIBA World Cup competition, there was mild surprise from Timberwolves fans.
But when he showed up to compete for Team China, and neither he nor Team China played particularly well in competition, fears began to creep in, just as they had with Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star center Rudy Gobert and his recent struggles with Team France. After all, with the 2023-24 NBA season just around the corner, concerns began to grow over whether Gobert’s struggles on the international basketball courts would carry over to the NBA basketball court at Target Center.
And those fears were beginning to multiply rapidly as Kyle Anderson’s early FIBA performance was a bit underwhelming. Li Kaier or 李凯尔 (a.k.a. Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kyle Anderson) as he is known to Team China fans, was not about to let down his fans
And in the end, it was Li Kaier or 李凯尔 (a.k.a. Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kyle Anderson) who led his team to victory.
Looks like Slo-Mo has gotten his groove back.
The Minnesota Timberwolves experienced a lot of adversity in the 2022-23 NBA season, and Kyle Anderson is one of the reasons that the team was able to turn things around and end the year in the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
While the Timberwolves are more competitive this season, the team is by no means out of the woods just yet. So it will come down once more to the performance of Li Kaier or 李凯尔 (a.k.a. Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kyle Anderson) to ensure that the Timberwolves succeed once more.
It’s a good thing that Slo-Mo has gotten his groove back
