The Minnesota Timberwolves are nearly ready for the 2023-24 season to begin. After an offseason where management opted to mostly retain last year’s roster with some minor upgrades, Wolves fans are excited to see the team run it back.

Bringing back the core of last year’s squad in Minnesota was an obvious choice given the circumstances. With Karl-Anthony Towns out for the majority of the regular season, a roster shakeup at the trade deadline that saw Mike Conley replace D’Angelo Russell, and with it being the first year of the Rudy Gobert experiment, a lot of variables were at play that led to a shaky season.

But now, the Timberwolves are set to be a true force in the Western Conference provided they can avoid the injury bug. With just a few weeks remaining in the offseason, many are wondering when Minnesota will host their annual media day.

When will the Minnesota Timberwolves host their 2023-24 media day?

As many are aware, the Timberwolves are heading to Abu Dhabi to play a set of unique preseason games against the Dallas Mavericks during the first week of October. Most teams typically host their media days the day before training camp officially opens.

For the other 28 NBA teams, this will mean an October 2 media day. But since the Wolves will be traveling internationally that week, they will be hosting media day during the last week of September, followed by training camp as well.

Luckily for fans in Minnesota, they will get a chance to see and hear from their team before nearly every other fanbase around the league. The Timberwolves are set to hold their first official practice of the 2023-24 season on September 27.

This will be a nice treat for Wolves fans who have been clamoring for basketball season to begin once again. Just 13 days remain until Minnesota officially returns to action.
