After his dominating performance with Team USA at the World Cup, it is becoming even harder to ignore the raw talent of the Wolves’ best player. Fans around the league are beginning to recognize Edwards’ status as one of the best two guards in the NBA.
Recently, Edwards celebrated a significant achievement with the release of his first signature sneaker, the AE1. The shoe was unveiled at a special event in Edwards’ hometown of Atlanta, and popular rapper Lil Baby was on hand with a performance as well.

Many of the greatest players of all time have released a signature shoe at some point in their careers. Anthony Edwards continues checking the boxes that indicate he is on his way to stardom in the NBA.
Developed by Adidas, the AE1 was officially launched on Saturday. The shoe was released along with a new signature logo for Anthony Edwards’ brand.
Since the event took place in Atlanta, Edwards collaborated with Lil Baby to host him for a special concert. Hailing from the ATL, Lil Baby is one of the biggest rappers in America right now, with three number one albums and a Grammy Award to his name.
The entire event was a major celebration for a truly special player. As Anthony Edwards’ game continues to grow, special events like this will only become more commonplace.
