Best NBA prop bets today for Timberwolves vs. Spurs (Anthony Edwards should dominate)
By Peter Dewey

The Minnesota Timberwolves are off to a great start this season, partially because of their elite defense, and partially because of the all-around play of budding star Anthony Edwards.
Now, the Wolves will get a test against No. 1 overall pick Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night. I think this is a great spot to bet on Edwards, Wemby and one other Wolves star in the prop market.

Let’s break down the picks for this game!
Timberwolves vs. Spurs best NBA prop bets today
- Anthony Edwards OVER 26.5 points
- Victor Wembanyama OVER 8.5 rebounds
- Karl-Anthony Towns OVER 11.5 assists and rebounds
Anthony Edwards OVER 26.5 points
This is a dream matchup for Edwards, who has scored 31 or more points in three of his last five games.
The Spurs rank 20th in the NBA in defensive rating this season, and they just gave up over 120 points to the New York Knicks on Wednesday night.
That favors Edwards, who has been a high-volume shooter and scorer this season. I expect him to push 30 points against tonight, so I’ll gladly take the OVER on 26.5.
Victor Wembanyama OVER 8.5 rebounds
The French phenom is a must-watch player, and he’s been hitting the glass at a high rate lately, picking up nine or more rebounds in four straight games.
The Spurs will need Wemby on the glass in this one, especially since the Wolves are No. 9 in the league in rebounding percentage.
Given his size and ability to clean up the offensive glass, I think Wembanyama is able to grab nine rebounds tonight.
Karl-Anthony Towns OVER 11.5 assists and rebounds
I’m shocked to see this prop at 11.5 for Karl-Anthony Towns, who has cleared it on five occasions this season in seven total games.
KAT is averaging 8.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game, but that’s dragged down by a three-board, 0-assist game his last time out. Against a bad defense like the Spurs, Towns should be able to bounce back in both areas.
