The Minnesota Timberwolves are headed into the final six weeks of their season, and there is so much that can still happen. Up until the middle of January, the Wolves did not have a lot of major injury issues to worry about. Then came ailments to both Donte DiVincenzo and Julius Randle that forced Chris Finch and the rest of his staff to come up with solutions on the fly. The result was getting several more of the young guys meaningful minutes, and watching their talents shine.

Jaylen Clark's phenomenal defensive impact earned him a new standard contract with the team, and Terrence Shannon Jr. has been showcasing his shot-creation ability, along with Rob Dillingham. Now, Minnesota is going to have more options to go to as they weather this storm of the final month-plus of the regular season. The other good news is that they will likely have most or all of their top rotation guys back on the floor in short order as well.

DiVincenzo returned to action this past week, and Julius Randle has been upgraded to questionable for the Timberwolves' Sunday evening showdown with the Phoenix Suns. If he plays, it will be his first game action since the end of January. Anthony Edwards is also questionable, and Rudy Gobert remains out with lingering back pain.
