19. Toronto Raptors - Carlton Carrington, Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh's Carlton Carrington is an interesting prospect. He's still 18 years old and coming off a season where he averaged 13.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game. The Pitt Panther's shortcomings were his shooting percentages. He shot only 41.2 percent from the floor and 32.2 percent from 3-point land.

Carrington's field goal percentage likely suffered due to his high difficulty of shots. The freshman is fantastic in the mid-range, but his favorite area of the floor also tends to yield the lowest percentages.

What makes Carrington an intriguing fit in Toronto is his bucket-getting ability. The Toronto Raptors drafted a spot-up marksman last offseason in Gradey Dick. This time around, the Raptors add a young shotmaker.

Immanuel Quickley, the Raptors' midseason trade acquisition, is somewhat redundant to Carrington, but where the players differ is Quickley's vast improvement as a lead guard. The former Knick averaged 6.8 assists in Toronto. It's likely the Raptors draft based on potential rather than fit.

With Gary Trent Jr. hitting free agency, another scoring guard will do wonders for the Toronto offense. Additionally, the Raptors are in a bit of disarray after dealing franchise centerpiece Pascal Siakam last season. It's time for Toronto to take a home-run approach in the draft.
