3. Naz Reid

When it comes to players beloved by the Timberwolves fanbase, there is arguably none greater than Naz Reid. He is a fan favorite in every sense of the word, and his production on the court this season has certainly been worth celebrating.

The perfect stretch big, Naz is putting up career-bests of 23 minutes per game, 12.3 points per game and 40% shooting from three-point range this season. He has been one of the main catalysts for the Wolves' success off the bench, and the fact that he is a homegrown talent makes his play all the more enjoyable to watch for fans.

Evidence of Minnesota's love for Reid is everywhere. From the viral internet meme of his namesake that has been picked up by even the team account on social media, to the "Honk if you love Naz Reid" sign outside Parkway Pizza in Northeast Minneapolis, it is clear to see that appreciation for what he does for the Timberwolves spreads far and wide.

But there is no guarantee Naz will remain in the Twin Cities forever. After next season, he will have a player option on his contract that he can opt into to earn $15 million for the 2025-26 year. If the Timberwolves believe he will play himself into a potentially even larger contract between now and then and/or if they choose to keep Karl-Anthony Towns and his supermax contract, they may have a tough decision to make with Reid.
