Timberwolves get a mix of both good and bad news before Pelicans matchup

The Minnesota Timberwolves are getting a mix of both good and bad news before their Monday matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans.
Minnesota was not a team that played for the NBA In-Season Championship, as their In-Season games didn't go as expected, so they have a few days rest underneath them, whereas the Pelicans don't.
The New Orleans Pelicans are coming back from Las Vegas, as they just played the Los Angeles Lakers in the round before the championship. So, if anything, that tells me they are no pushover, regardless of the Timberwolves already beating them twice before - once by 21 points and once by one point.
The Pelicans have star players on their roster in Zion Williamson and Brandon Engram, and some would even say C.J. McCollum and Jonas Valanciunas as well. So, this game won't be easy, and the Timberwolves could use all the help they can get as they are looking to be the first team in the league with 20 wins, as they currently have the league's best record.
But the Wolves have some good news and bad news.
The good news is that Jaden McDaniels may finally be coming back, as he is questionable on the injury report for the game. He had a right ankle sprain about two weeks ago and hasn't played since. It's a wonder the Wolves have played as well as they have without their best wing defender.
They also have some bad news. Anthony Edwards is also questionable to play on Monday, as he is dealing with that right hip pointer he suffered when he took the nasty fall last week. I expect Edwards will play, but we just don't know. With the lead over the west the Wolves have, Finch could make Edwards sit out.
The New Orleans Pelicans have some injuries of their own, too, as Larry Nance Jr. (right rib fracture) and Matt Ryan (right elbow strain) both missed practice on Sunday.
Either way, this game should be a fun one as both teams have played good basketball as of late.
