Timberwolves Summer League roster: Full updated list of players

Former Iowa standout and San Antonio Spurs draft pick Joe Wieskamp is the best shooter on the Wolves' summer league team. As a junior at Iowa, Wieskamp averaged 2.4 three-pointers per game—shooting 46.2 percent from downtown.
Following multiple strong collegiate seasons, Wieskamp entered the draft where he was selected in the second round. Wieskamp split his rookie season suiting up for the Spurs and their G-League affiliate, the Austin Spurs.
Wieskamp will now suit up for the Timberwolves summer league team after several seasons bouncing around the G-League. Although Wieskamp is a certified marksman, he's never performed quite well in the summer league. His success has translated better in the G-League.
A season ago, Wieskamp split time between the Texas Legends and Maine Celtics. His performance in Texas wasn't so hot, but he looked like a potential NBA contributor in Maine. Wieskamp averaged 16.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.8 three-pointers in 13 appearances for the Celtics.
