Nadir Hifi is a 6-foot-1 point guard hailing from Strasbourg, France. Hifi spent several seasons suiting up for Le Portel's U21 squad before appearing on the top team as a 20-year-old. Hifi averaged 6.8 points per game as a reserve in France's LNB A.
After a year of seasoning, Hifi's averages increased across the board. In an expanded role, the French guard averaged 16.8 points and 3.4 assists. After several seasons suiting up for Le Portel, Hifi joined Paris Basketball.
Hifi saw his most success in Paris, as his team won 27 of 34 contests and he was subsequently named to the All-LNB Elite First Team. Hifi averaged 15.6 points per game in just 20.8 minutes of action.
The point guard had recently been competing against the likes of Rudy Gobert and Victor Wembanyama on France's Olympic team before coming stateside to play for Minnesota's summer league squad.
