13. San Antonio Spurs

Draft Picks: Stephon Castle, Harrison Ingram

Offseason Acquisitions: Chris Paul, Harrison Barnes

Departures: Devonte' Graham

Due to winning last year's draft lottery, the San Antonio Spurs are set up for success for the next decade-plus. Victor Wembanyama's trajectory is incomprehensible. At 7-foot-4 with guard skills, the All-NBA Defense first-teamer is in a league of his own.

To aid in Wembanyama's maturation, the Spurs drafted a lead guard, Stephon Castle, and signed the "Point God," Chris Paul. After a failed Jeremy Sochan-at-point-guard experiment a season ago, the Spurs will enter the season with Paul, Castle, and holdover Tre Jones at point guard. Further increasing roster flexibility, Castle is capable of suiting up at either guard spot.

With Sochan back to his ideal power forward spot, the Spurs will flank the former top-ten pick with Devin Vassell and Harrison Barnes at the wing spots. Additionally, San Antonio rosters a Sixth Man of the Year contender in Keldon Johnson.

San Antonio may be more devoid of talent than both Utah and Portland, but the Spurs have Wembanyama who will make an All-NBA team next season. Unlike many teams in the association, the Spurs won't panic if they win less than 30 games for a second consecutive season.
