After going up against weaker competition on Monday when they faced the Washington Wizards, the Minnesota Timberwolves are right back to another difficult stretch against challenging opponents, which will begin at home against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday. The Wolves will have a chance to win their fifth game in six contests.

They will of course have a greater chance to do so if we see the All-NBA version of Anthony Edwards show up, which is not an unreasonable ask right now. Edwards finished with 41 points against the Wizards on Monday, just one week after getting 37 against the Clippers and nine days after his career-high of 53 points against the Pistons. Ant is firing on all cylinders on offense right now.

However, the numbers continue to show us that the Timberwolves as a whole are struggling to score in clutch time situations. The Warriors have been disappointing as of late, and putting them away before the closing minutes will be of the utmost importance when it comes to getting a win on Wednesday.
