The Minnesota Timberwolves will return to action when they travel to Intuit Dome to face the LA Clippers on Wednesday evening. It will mark the Wolves' third-straight contest against a Los Angeles-based team, following their game with the Lakers on Monday, and their matchup with the Clippers last week.

Minnesota will be seeking their third consecutive win in this one, and looking to finally get back over .500 overall. Their challenge of beating the Clippers will not be an easy one, as LA has been playing some of the best basketball in the association as of late. Chris Finch recently gave some high praise to a few of the Clippers' best players as well.

The good news is, the Timberwolves know they can beat this team after they handed them a loss just five days ago. There has been plenty of outside noise surrounding this Minnesota team, but the guys in the locker room have done a good job recently of blocking all that out and getting back to their winning ways.

Is Rob Dillingham playing tonight vs the Clippers?

Many had been wondering if the rookie Rob Dillingham will be good to go against the Clippers on Wednesday. After the latest status report, it appears Dillingham has been ruled out for Minnesota's first ever game at Intuit Dome.

Rob missed Monday's home game against the Lakers after being listed as questionable before the game with a right ankle sprain. Now, he has officially been listed as out for Wednesday. This is an unfortunate development for a talented young guard who had begun to get more minutes and prove himself before the injury.

Mike Conley's absence for the latter part of November had given Dillingham a real opportunity to show off his talent, and he made good of his chances. But after Conley came back, it seemed Rob's minutes became less of a priority to the coaching staff. Ideally, he will heal up and be back in the rotation soon.

An updated injury report for the Clippers on Wednesday is yet to be provided by the team.

On Tuesday against the Trail Blazers, Kobe Brown (back injury management), Cam Christie (on assignment), Trentyn Flowers (two-way), Kawhi Leonard (right knee injury recovery), Kevin Porter Jr. (left ankle sprain) and P.J. Tucker (not with team) were all out.

It is reasonable to assume that several of these players will be absent on Wednesday as well. Kawhi Leonard and P.J. Tucker most notably are almost certain to be re-listed as out against Minnesota.
