As the NFL kicked off it reminded us how badly we miss the NBA. Here are the top Minnesota Timberwolves’ tweets and articles from Sunday.

With each passing day we get closer and closer to the start of the NBA regular season. That is great news for Minnesota Timberwolves’ fans as this year brings as much promise as any season.

Minnesota will be looking to snap their historic playoff drought and play basketball into May. That’s something that’s nearly unheard of in these parts.

The good news is Minnesota appears to be on the verge. However, as we wait for that journey to begin, the NFL kicked off their opening weekend on Sunday. Minnesota Viking fans have to wait one more agonizing day until they begin their season, however, as Tim Faklis points out, lets get to this season already!

The former Wolves point guard Ricky Rubio is having himself a nice Eurobasket and took over in the game against Turkey. The defending champion Spain ended up pulling away and defeating Turkey 73-56:
