Ahead of the Minnesota Timberwolves' game against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday evening, the team released a new official injury report just before 11:00 AM. In the report, Naz Reid's status has been updated to questionable with an illness.
He joins Rob Dillingham, who is also listed as questionable due to illness. Both of these guys would be notable losses, but especially Naz. He has been playing at a very high level as of late, and the Wolves would surely miss his production should he have to sit out tonight.
Wednesday will be a big opportunity for Minnesota to move up in the standings. They come in having won their last three games in a row, their fifth time this season winning at least three games consecutively. The Timberwolves are currently a half game ahead of the Suns in the standings. Defeating them on the road would be big, especially with a couple of easier games coming up on the schedule in the coming week.
