The confidence that Anthony Edwards exudes is no secret. He believes he can do anything and all of it better than anyone. That's not necessarily a bad thing, either. However, one of his most recent claims is a bit crazy. The Minnesota Timberwolves guard is a guy who will let you know exactly how he feels.

The Timberwolves are 18-5, tied with the best record in the entire league with the Boston Celtics, whom they have already beaten. A big reason why, in most of those games, Edwards has missed three games with a hip pointer is the way Ant-Man has played. He has turned his game up to another level this year.

To a lot of people, Edwards is a top 10 player in the league in 2023-24. To a lot of others, Edwards is a top-five two-way player in the league, as his defense has shown major improvements. With all of the success he has had this year, Edwards decides to talk about his stuff a little bit.

He has said he could and will play in the NFL, which is pretty crazy; he has said that he could play baseball, hockey, and other sports. But now he is saying that Michael Jordan couldn't guard him.

When asked if Jordan could guard him in the modern era, Edwards responded with "hell nah."

And he may be right; we just don't know and never will know. But we can say that there is a possibility because of how handsy the defense was when Jordan played as compared to how touchy it is now. Jordan would likely get called for a lot of fouls, but that doesn't mean he couldn't guard him. It's a tough one, for sure.

But Edwards doesn't care who it is; he is always going to pick himself, and you can't hate on him for that.
