On Sunday night (8:00 CST), the 5-4 Minnesota Timberwolves take on the 3-6 Sacramento Kings. Thus far, the Wolves are undefeated against below .500 teams, and they'll look to continue this trend Sunday. Minnesota is coming off a 40-point win against the Utah Jazz on Friday. The two teams split last year's season series 2-2.

However, as is expected with most regular season games, each team is dealing with some injuries. Let's dive into the full injury report ahead of Sunday's game.

11/9: Timberwolves full injury report vs. Kings

  • Donte DiVincenzo (face mask) - AVAILABLE
  • Terrence Shannon Jr. (foot) - OUT
  • Enrique Freeman (two-way) - OUT
  • Rocco Zikarsky (two-way) - OUT

Donte DiVincenzo suffered a broken nose during last Saturday's game against the Charlotte Hornets. Regardless, he missed no time, including in that game, so it's no surprise that he remains available despite likely sporting a facemask again. DiVincenzo has been stellar this season, averaging 14.4 points on 42.3 percent shooting from beyond the arc.

Terrence Shannon Jr. will miss his third straight game with a foot ailment. He was originally listed as questionable but was later ruled out. While Shannon has been a mainstay of the Wolves' rotation, averaging 16.4 minutes, with Anthony Edwards back from injury, TSJ's role is unclear. Notably, Shannon has been out since Edwards returned from his hamstring injury. For the season, Shannon is averaging 3.9 points while shooting 32.1 percent from the field.

With Shannon sidelined again, more minutes will be available for Rob Dillingham and Jaylen Clark.

11/9: Kings full injury report vs. Timberwolves

  • Domantas Sabonis (rib cage) - QUESTIONABLE
  • Keegan Murray (thumb) - OUT
  • Dylan Cardwell (two-way) - OUT
  • Daeqwon Plowden (two-way) - OUT
  • Isaiah Stevens (two-way) - OUT

Domantas Sabonis is the heavy hitter on Sacramento's injury report. Sabonis has missed the Kings' last two games (on Wednesday and Friday) due to a rib cage contusion. Additionally, Sabonis missed the Kings' first game of the season due to a hamstring injury. Drew Eubanks has started in his place in all three games. Rookie Maxime Raynaud has seen an increased role without Sabonis.

The Kings are 1-2 without Sabonis, but the one win came against a Golden State Warriors squad without Steph Curry, Jimmy Butler, and Draymond Green. Undoubtedly, Sabonis is a massive part of the Kings, especially on offense. Sabonis operates as an offensive hub for the Kings. He is an elite inside scorer, passer, and rebounder. If Sabonis is sidelined, that should allow Minnesota's 22nd-ranked defense to get back on track.

Keegan Murray has missed the entire season after undergoing thumb surgery. While he is still out, on October 12, it was announced that Murray would be re-evaluated in four to six weeks. As a result, Murray may return when the Timberwolves take on the Kings again on Friday, November 14.
