Where to watch every Timberwolves game in the 2026-27 season

With LaMelo Ball in the fold, the Minnesota Timberwolves are going to be one of the most exciting teams to watch in the NBA. He and Anthony Edwards form a dynamic duo. Based on Ant and the Wolves' frequent clutch-time games, they were already a fun team to watch. Now, the entertainment should reach another level. 

However, with a new broadcasting deal and the plethora of national carriers, it's understandable if you are wondering how exactly to watch Timberwolves games. Don't worry, we've got you covered.

Where to watch typical Timberwolves regular season games

The Timberwolves' new broadcasting deal with DAZN makes this a bit complicated. Games will not be aired on traditional cable; instead, they will air on the DAZN app, which can be accessed on smart TVs and mobile devices. 

DAZN can be accessed in Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota, with partial coverage extending into Kansas and Wisconsin. Viewers outside of this region can catch the Timberwolves by subscribing to NBA League Pass. Fans get 15 free games on DAZN before having to purchase a monthly subscription. 

Games on national television won't be available on DAZN. 

Where to watch nationally televised Timberwolves games

NBA games will be nationally televised on ESPN, ABC, NBC, Peacock, and Prime Video. Games on ESPN, ABC, and NBC can be accessed through traditional cable and streaming platforms such as YouTube TV. However, Prime Video and Peacock exclusive games require a streaming service subscription. 

The NBA will release its full schedule on Thursday afternoon. For now, we know that the Timberwolves will have at least three nationally televised games. 

• 10/21 @ Miami Heat 6:30 CT (ESPN)
• 11/25 @ Oklahoma City Thunder 6:30 CT (ESPN NBA Cup) 
• 12/25 vs. Oklahoma City Thunder 7:30 CT (ABC)

Last season, the Timberwolves had 28 nationally televised games, which ranked fifth in the league. With LaMelo in the fold, the Timberwolves might even see an uptick in this department. Regardless, the early schedule makes it clear the NBA is prioritizing the Timberwolves. A third straight Christmas game against an elite squad makes this clear. The Wolves' game against the Heat is also on the second day of the season. 

Timberwolves games can be listened to on the radio via KFAN FM 100.3. This can be accessed on the Timberwolves app, SiriusXM, and iHeartRadio. 

Where to watch the Timberwolves NBA Cup games

This year marks the fourth straight year of the NBA Cup. As a refresher, teams are split into six groups with five teams each. Wednesdays and Fridays from October 30 to November 27 are dedicated to the group stage of Cup play. The winner of each group, along with one wild card team, advances to the knockout round -- all games except for the NBA Cup Finals count toward team's regular-season record. 

On Wednesday, the NBA released the full Cup schedule. Below is the Timberwolves' schedule.  

• 10/30 vs. Los Angeles Clippers 7 CT (DAZN)
• 11/6 @ New Orleans Pelicans 7:00 CT (DAZN)
• 11/25 @ Oklahoma City Thunder 6:30 CT (ESPN) 
• 11/27 vs. Memphis Grizzlies 7:30 (DAZN) 

A showdown with the Thunder on Thanksgiving Eve is the clear highlight here. And it's fittingly the only nationally televised Cup game. Should the Wolves win that, they have a clear path to winning their group and perhaps even the whole Cup. While the other teams are projected lottery squads, Minnesota can't play down to its competition.
