Major Key for Minnesota: Contain the All-Stars

There is just so much talent on this Golden State roster, that it is nearly impossible to stop them. You’re talking about four All-Star players, that could be even bigger players on their own teams. You have two former MVP player’s in Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant. An All-Star sharpshooting defender in Klay Thompson and an all-around star in Draymond Green.

On any given night, they can all score over 20-30 points. Surely Green is capable of scoring, but he is mainly just one of the great defenders in the NBA. Primarily when you’re talking offensively, it is important to mainly limit Curry, Durant and Thompson.

Last season, the Warriors led the league in the most points scored per game, sitting at an impressive 115.9 points a game.

Winning the championship twice in the past three years, it’s clear that they run the league. In the past three years, they have put up crazy win/loss records.

-2014-15′: 67-15
-2015-16′: 73-9
-2016-17′: 67:15

The 73-9 season was the best record ever set, breaking the Chicago Bulls record set back in 1995-96′. These records are done because they simply have some of the best player’s in the NBA.

In order to beat the Warriors, you have to limit their four All-Star players. It’s simply the only way to do so unless you outscore them. But, that’s not something that is easy to do.
